5 Lessons, 5 Regrets, 5 Celebrations: My Birthday Year In Review

On February 26th I started my next glorious trip around the sun. I have so much to be grateful for - the love, the support, all the things I've learned, my incredible family, clients, all of you here!! 38 was truly one of the best years I've lived on this planet so far and many of you contributed to that greatness so THANK YOU!

And, with each year passing come not only celebrations, but also lessons and regrets. So without further adieu, here is my annual birthday year in review where I acknowledge 5 celebrations, 5 lessons and 5 regrets. Enjoy!

FIVE LESSONS πŸ₯²

  • You don't have to do this alone. This meaning: L-I-F-E. I tend to keep a lot to myself and this year The Universe gave me a lot of opportunities to be reminded that I'm not alone and it's ok to ask for help.

  • Physical, mental and emotional health first. Because success is less fulfilling (pointless?) if you're burned out, unhealthy and barely surviving.

  • You are not like anyone else, and therefore you won't do things like everyone else. Honor your unique energy, what you need and desire. Quiet the relentless noise.

  • Enough is better than more. More just keeps you running and pushing and that's exhausting. Know when it's enough.

  • Be confident now, because in one year, 5 years, 10 years I'm gonna look back and be like β€œwhat.the.fuck, you were so amazing!!!” Know that amazingness now.

FIVE REGRETS πŸ™

  • I regret not being as compassionate and kind to myself as I could have been. Old habits die hard.

  • I regret not having the courage to tell people more often how I really feel.

  • I regret feeling shy and not sharing as many of my celebrations and testimonials with you all!

  • I regret spending so much time on my stupid phone, UGH, such an energy suck and that stops now!

  • I regret putting my writing on the back burner (that's already changed - stay tuned πŸ™)

FIVE CELEBRATIONS πŸ₯³

  • The Year Of Awakening is a force of fucking nature. And I created that!! 🀩 Celebrating from the rooftops the transformations that have happened inside this membership program!

  • Celebrating a year of successfully working from our second home for many weeks last year! It was a test in work-life balance and I think I nailed it!

  • I've built a 4.3k community on Insight Timer with weekly gatherings of 100+ amazing humans! So grateful!!!

  • I loved being a part of Poetry Postcard Fest last year! It got me writing poetry again and it was amazing to connect with strangers from around the country.

  • Celebrating my courage to take some bigger risks in my business not having a clue if or how they would work out. Apparently when you jump your wings really do appear.

Person popping a confetti canon into a clear blue sky.
